This somewhat misanthropic and often savagely funny film is an episodic caricature of human foibles that expresses the brutality of experience with a poetic imagination. It combines live action and animation (using the Vancouver-based Sens’s own technique of drawing and erasing under the camera) and deliberately avoids image-sound synchronization. It was well-received at numerous international film festivals, including the Annecy International Festival of Animated Films and the Montreal International Film Festival.
