High Steel looks at the Kahnawake Mohawks, famed for their skill in iron work. Owen concentrates on a group who’ve gone to New York City to work on an extension to a skyscraper. Exuberant and exhilarating, the film salutes their work, but also laments the forces which pull them away from their homes.
