A compelling, emotionally charged and politically allegorical drama about the end of a relationship, I Shout Love takes place the night Bobby (Matthew Ferguson) is about to leave Tessa (Kristen Thomson) for another woman. In a suicidal panic, Tessa persuades Bobby to stay one last night and re-enact the good old times in front of a video camera. Beautifully layered characters and performances combine with an intriguing visual strategy (the film is shot from the point-of-view of Tessa’s camera) to make this a mature, insightful and heart-wrenching film.

The third short film directed by iconic Canadian actor Sarah Polley, I Shout Love won a Genie Award for Best Live Action Short and an ACTRA Award for Thomson’s performance.
