In this brilliantly animated, deliciously surreal and partly autobiographical comedy from award-winning animator Cordell Barker, an alien child arrives on the doorstep of a comfortable, childless couple. At first they are overjoyed, but soon the entire household is in havoc and the marriage is hanging by a thread.

A boisterous and entertaining cautionary tale of parenthood and family life, Strange Invaders was extremely well received on the international festival circuit, winning numerous prizes including a Special Recognition Award at the Zagreb World Festival of Animated Films and the Golden Gate Award for Best Animated Film at the San Francisco International Film Festival. It also earned Genie and Academy Award® nominations for Best Animated Short.
