This lavishly produced sponsored cartoon – told from the perspective of a thief and safecracker – was designed to alleviate the problems of seasonal unemployment by persuading industry to take advantage of the increased labour supply during winter lay-offs. Made in the recognizable NFB studio style of the period, it was widely shown theatrically and had some success at international festivals.
